Monster angels

What we bring.

Beneath the forge lies a mine full of green crystals. Every crystal is an idea. The best ones we forge into monsters, with you, not for you. Here's what we bring into the workshop for that. And how the mine came to be in the first place.

No money included. On purpose.

The toolbox

Four things we always carry.

All of it we earned ourselves since 2020 at tapemonster and cardmonster. None of it is in a book.

Experience

We've raised a few monsters already and know where it hurts.

  • Two brands built from zero: tapemonster since 2020, cardmonster after that.
  • Thousands of orders, a few thousand boxes, a few hundred mistakes. Learned from every one.
  • B2B sales with invoicing, prepayment discounts, artwork checks. We know what businesses expect.
  • A monster that sleeps (bagmonster). That's experience too.

Tools

Shop, marketing, processes, network. Everything a young monster needs to get running.

  • Online shop tech including inventory, payment, shipping, multiple languages, multiple currencies.
  • Marketing: search engines, ads, magazine content like the tapemonster magazine.
  • Production and purchasing: suppliers, materials, samples, artwork, colors.
  • A mascot universe every new monster fits into.

Hands on

We stand at the anvil with you. Wearing an apron, not holding a laser pointer.

  • No consulting with slides. We build along: product, look, first customers.
  • We make the calls, pack the boxes, read every email ourselves. For the new monster too.
  • If something doesn't work, we flip it instead of giving a presentation about it.

No money talk

We don't want any from you, and you won't get an investor circus.

The legend

How the mine came to be.

Every forge has a story. Ours begins with a roll of tape and very bad timing.

The workshop at the anvil
Chapter 1 · The workshop

Once upon a time there was a small workshop at the edge of the Black Forest. Two people stood at the anvil and only wanted to sell tape. Perfectly normal tape. With a logo on it. Respectable. That was 2020, and it was a good plan.

Möh! – climbed out of the smoke
Chapter 2 · The accident

Then a roll slipped into the forge fire. It hissed, it smoked, it smelled of glue and adventure. And out of the smoke climbed something green, shook itself, and said: “Möh!” We haven't sold tape since. Möh! sells tape. We're allowed to help.

Lachrolland and Möh! side by side
Chapter 3 · The laugh

The two of them laughed so hard at what had just happened that the laughter itself took shape. Blue, round, unstoppable: Lachrolland was born. He's been laughing nonstop ever since. We got used to it. The neighbors didn't. Soon after, Klebelix and Speedy joined, completing the tapemonster crew.

The mine full of green crystals
Chapter 4 · The mine

Beneath the forge we found a mine full of glowing green crystals. Every crystal is an idea. Some are small, some are huge, some explode if you look at them wrong. From the best ones we forge new monsters. That's how the card monster came into the world, how bagmonster came (and promptly fell asleep), and how the egg is coming.

The door is open
Chapter 5 · Today

The mine has grown, the fire still burns. And we've realized: you don't find the best crystals alone. So the door is open. Bring your idea, we'll forge together. Here's how it works.

The end? No. To be continued. The egg wobbles.

The crew

Who stands at the anvil.

Who's behind the Monster Forge stays our secret. Rumor has it: two humans. Other rumors say: three monsters in a trench coat. We deny nothing.

  • Incognito

    Head Smith

Strikes while the iron is hot. Drinks coffee like it's coolant. Dropped the first roll into the fire in 2020. Allegedly by accident.

  • Incognito

    Chief Spark Flinger

In charge of everything that glows, lights up, and is online. Was the first to see the egg wobble and hasn't slept properly since.

  • Official

    Möh!

The smart head of the family. Holds everything together, management included. Profile.

  • Morale

    Lachrolland

Chief morale officer of the entire forge. Checks every idea for being funny enough. 100% pass rate so far. He's not strict.

Tools are here. Missing: the idea.

For grins and eye-rolls: we serve absurdly amusing stories and gloriously useless stuff you definitely don't need but will probably love. Now and then there's actual news. But fun always comes first.
